Current Projects

Eve is a cross-platform non-linear video editing system (NLE) that is being designed from the ground up based around Java, Gstreamer, and OpenGL technologies.

I am currently assisting with research regarding the usability of parallel programming systems with Greg Wilson at the University of Toronto.

Student Internship, The Jonah Group, May 2008 to Present. Java and web development position for large-scale, large-group project. Responsibilities also include creation of Python scripts for automation, administration of IBM Websphere, and thorough interaction with Oracle SQL Server. (

Web Client Application, L-Zone Environmental, May 2007 to May 2008. Design, implementation, and maintenance of a client login-based web application involving “AJAX” patterns. The web application features a file-management system, photo viewer, and robust administration interface based on XML. (

Technical Consultant, Lazier-Hickey Lawyers LLP, May 2005 to May 2006. Responsibilities included rapidly interfacing with the staff of the firm, providing advice and diagnosing problems to get computers working as quickly as possible. (
